1. Which merchants use the ishobyzip.com Merchant Program?

2. What is a sales lead?
A sales lead is considered to be an actual shopper who clicks on your product listing within the Shopping.com shopping search results and who links directly to your site's product "buy" page. You will be able to track your sales leads within the Merchant Account Center.
3. What is Cost-Per-Click (CPC)?
Cost-Per-Click (CPC) is the amount you or any merchant is willing to pay for a sales lead. CPC is named Cost-per Click because a merchant only pays when a person clicks over to their site. As a merchant, you set your CPC by category (e.g. electronics) or subcategory (e.g. digital camera, televisions). You can change your CPC at any time.

4. How do I manage my Merchant Account?
Once you are enrolled in the Shopping.com Merchant Program, you will have access to your Merchant Account Center, where you will have many free tools at your fingertips. You will be able to see how many sales leads you received on a given day, view your billing history, change your bid and make other adjustments to your account.

5. How quickly do the changes I make to my account take effect?
Changes to your bids take affect within minutes. Other changes, like adjustments to your deposit on account or changes to your payment plan may only take effect for your next payment period. Special requests can be made directly through your Sales Manager.

6. What is the minimum prepayment amount needed to get started as a Merchant at Shopping.com?
A minimum prepayment amount of $100 to your Merchant Account is required to get started. Any unused portion of your prepayment is refundable and risk-free. You can cancel at any time, no questions asked. You can add more money to your Merchant Account at any time as well.

7. When is my credit card charged?
We've been in the business of ratings online stores since 1996. Through the years we've put in place many ways of detecting and eliminating fraudulent ratings. Of course, for obvious reasons, we don't like to detail exactly what we look for and how we detect fraud, but suffice it to say that we use a combination of sophisticated mathematical algorithms, large numbers of reviews from a variety of sources that are checked against each other for consistency, and powerful analytic tools and systems to make sure that we are on the leading edge of detecting and eliminating systematic fraud from our ratings. Quite simply, without the most reliable store ratings on the web, we wouldn't be ishopbyzip!

8. Many sites have store ratings, what's the big deal about yours?
We charge your card immediately upon setup of your Merchant Account. A valid credit card is required to complete the enrollment process.

10. What happens if I have a zero balance in my Merchant Account?
You will be notified, and your product listings will immediately be removed from the Shopping.com Network. If you use the "Always On" plan, we will automatically recharge your credit card for the deposit amount predetermined by you and refill your Merchant Account - and your product listings will remain on Shopping.com without interruption.
